Reid, David - 11'9" 3/2 Parabolic 4wt - Spliced Joint Trout Spey

For sale here is a David L. Reid 11'9" 3-piece / 2-tip, 4wt parabolic bamboo trout spey rod in excellent+ condition. This is a hollow built, spliced joint hex rod from David's parabolic trout spey series. Designed to throw tips, or a mid-belly dry line. The action is slow, parabolic, and flexes down into the cork when loaded properly. Medium toned cane with blued snake guides and dual root beer agate stripping guides. Wraps are crimson with dark tipping. Splices are protected by wooden splice protectors (taped on). All the script on the butt section is clear and bold, serial #128-1221, and the original owners name is inked on the butt. The grips are made up of flor & composite rings, fore and aft, and the rod is fitted with a down locking reel seat over fine wood spacer. David recommends a 270-300gr Scandi line for this taper. Sold in the original bag and aluminum tube with maker's data label affixed.
