For sale here is a Jim Reams hollow built 8'3" 2-piece / 2-tip 4wt bamboo rod in excellent used condition. Medium toned cane with 2-opposed node spacing and oxidized guides wrapped in transparent toffee windings with dark brown accents. All sections are full length, straight and serialized (#264). Truncated Swiss-style ferrules fit perfectly. 6" grip is smooth with light soiling. Blued slide band reel seat over dark burl spacer, flared at the base. Two small spots of bluing loss, one to the butt cap and one on the female ferrule. Weight is 3.74oz. Medium / medium-fast dry fly action. Perfect with a DT4, a terrific hollow-built trout taper from Mr. Reams. Sold in the original bag and tube with custom tube protector.
