Raine, Chris - Fin, 8'3" 3-4wt Hollow Built Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a Chris Raine "Fin", 8'3" 3/2, 3-4wt hollow built bamboo rod in excellent used condition. Featuring flamed cane with 2-opposed nodes, lightly oxidized guides and transparent brown silk windings. All sections are full length, straight & serialized (#202HB). Ferrules fit perfectly, and the tip tops are wrapped differently for ease of rotation. 6.25" grip is smooth with a hint of soiling and made up of 1/4" rings. Up-locking slide band reel seat over mortised & flared spacer. The reel seat hardware and ferrules are blued, and the bluing shows a bit of wear consistent with careful use. The varnish remains perfect, and the reel seat has faint mounting marks. Scripted weight is 3 1/2oz, although my scale reads closer to 3 7/8oz. Medium action, rated as a 3-4wt but I like it with a DT3. The rod has plenty of soul but recovers quickly. A wonderful light action trout rod. Sold in the original bag with hangtag and brass capped tube with maker's label affixed.
