For sale here is a 9' 2/2 7-8wt E.C. Powell C-taper rod. Good used condition, the cane is all original, and the rod is mostly re-wrapped although I suspect a few guide wraps are original & overcoated. Golden bronze windings with intermediate wraps between guides. Bright ferrules fit perfectly, and all sections are straight & full length. The patent number script is intact, and the keeper is wrapped black & white indicating semi-hollow, cedar core construction. 6" grip is soiled with light ridging, and the rod is fitted with the standard aluminum & Bakelite reel seat with Marysville, CA stamping on the thread barrel. Weight is 4.93oz. Most will probably prefer it with a DT7, it feels a bit faster than most C-taper steelhead rods. Something like a fast C/slower B taper. Sold in the original brass capped tube with replacement (2-compartment) bag.
