Pickard, John - Model 764, 7'6" 2/2 4wt Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a John Pickard model 764, 7'6" 2-piece / 2-tip 4wt bamboo rod in excellent used condition. Based on the Paul H. Young Perfectionist taper, this rod features flamed cane with dark brown windings and oxidized snake guides. Blued Swiss-style ferrules fit perfectly, and all sections are full length & straight. Bent loop hook keeper, all-cork grip & reel seat with blued hardware. The bluing shows a bit of loss, and the cork has a hint of soiling, but this rod has clearly seen very little time on the water. Weight is 3.10oz. Medium, semi-parabolic action; a true 4wt in my hands. Sold in the original bag and brass capped tube.
