Phillipson - Peerless Dry Fly Special 8'6" 3/2 6wt Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a Phillipson Peerless "Dry Fly Special" 8'6" 3/2 6wt impregnated bamboo rod. Excellent used condition. Ammoniated cane with bright guides and dark brown windings. Gold wind-away trim wraps throughout. All sections are full length & straight, and the ferrules fit perfectly. 6.25" cork grip is smooth with light soiling, and the rod is fitted with a dark brown anodized aluminum reel seat. Actual weight is 5.19oz, a bit lighter than the scripted weight of 5 1/2oz. The rod has been very well cared for, and the original owner's name is scripted on the butt section. Perfect with a DT6, this rod has a decidedly "Western" progressive dry fly action. Sold in the original bag and tube.
