For sale here is a Linnea Rods model 774-3, 7'7" 3pc 4wt quad bamboo rod in very good used condition. Medium flamed cane with oxidized guides and pale green wraps. All sections are full length and both tips have slight right-handed sweeps. The tips are marked 1 & 2, and the #1 tip has a slightly loose fit. There is a metal-to-metal click with this ferrule, but it shores up acceptably well with some pure paraffin wax. The rest of the ferrules fit perfectly. 6" cork grip is smooth with light soiling, and the rod is fitted with a slide band reel seat over walnut spacer. The butt cap is two thin bands, one cork and one walnut. Weight is 3.18oz. Medium fast action, a pleasant dry fly taper that flexes into the butt section on longer casts with a WF4. Sold in the original bag and tube with data label affixed.
