For sale here is a Payne "Banty" fly reel. Made of bar stock aluminum, these reels were introduced during Dave Holloman's era of the Payne rod co. Bright silver finish, fixed neutral check and the handle grasp shares the finial form of the classic Payne ferrule plugs. This reel shows signs of honest use but remains in excellent condition. 2 3/8" diameter with a spoon width of 7/8" and the reel weighs 3.22oz. Best with a 3 or 4wt line.
