For sale here is an E.F. Payne 7'6" 2pc spinning rod in very good used condition. The ferrules wraps and winding check wraps appear original, all the guides have been rewrapped. Ferrules fit perfectly and both sections have slight downward droops (not uncommon on bamboo spinning rods). Dual slide band reel seat, the cork shows soiling and signs of being lightly cleaned. The butt cap retains the Payne stamping with "Sold by Abercrombie & Fitch" on the reverse. The butt cap is hard rubber. The hang tag indicates 4 7/8oz by my scale reads 5.4oz. A serviceable Payne spinning rod, sold in the original bag with hangtag and original tube.
