Paul H. Young - Para 15, 8'3" 2/2 6wt Bamboo Rod
$2,400.00
For sale here is a Paul Young Para 15 bamboo rod in excellent+ condition. Serial #4801, probably made by Todd Young around 1980. 8'3" 2/2, made with wet and dry tips. Flamed bamboo, dark guides and black windings with red accents. Blued ferrules fit perfectly, and all sections are full length, straight & serialized. Bent loop hook keeper, 5.5" grip and down-locking reel seat over cork spacer. 4.25oz scripted & actual weight. Parabolic action, best with a 6wt line. An interesting rod with the unusual 8'3" length (most Para 15's are 8'). Almost certainly a custom order, this rod packs into the original tan bag with brown piping and brass capped tube.
