Orvis - Madison 7' 2/1 5wt Bamboo Rod

For sale here is an Orvis Madison 7' 2-piece / 1-tip 3wt impregnated bamboo rod in mint condition. Serial #77407, made in 1975. Medium toned impregnated cane with bright guides and transparent brown windings. 10/64 ferrules fit perfectly, and the sections are straight & full length. Superfine cork grip with down-locking aluminum reel seat over cork spacer. All the cork is bright and smooth, the rod appears as-delivered, I doubt it was ever lawn casted. Scripted weight is 2 3/4oz, my scale reads just a little over at 2.89oz. Slow, full flexing action, this would be a fun one with a silk line. Sold in the original bag and tube with green & silver label.
