Orvis - Deluxe 6'6" 2/2 6wt Bamboo Rod

For sale here is an Orvis Deluxe 6'6" 2/2 6wt bamboo rod in excellent condition. Dark caramel impregnated cane with bright guides and brown windings. The top snake guide on the butt is rewrapped. Blued ferrules (11/64) fit perfectly, and all sections are full length & serialized (#46284, made in '67). The sections are straight except one tip has a slight fish fighting sweep. 4" superfine grip is smooth & soiled, and the rod is fitted with dual slide bands over cork spacer. The back of the spacer has a walnut inlay to protect the cork. Scripted & actual weight is 2 1/4oz. Delightful medium fast action, rated as a 6wt but better with a DT5. Sold in the original bag and tube with intact data label.
