For sale here is a scarce Orvis CFO II screwback fly reel in good used condition. Made in England by Hardys. Originally released in the early 1970's, this "screwback" reel was made in the first few years of production. Fixed click & pawl drag can be fished RHW or LHW (currently set for RHW). Smooth alloy 3-hole foot, fully ventilated frame and spool with palming rim. The reel shows signs of honest use with a good amount of finish loss to the rims and slight buggering of the spindle screw. Cosmetically imperfect but mechanically sound. Weight is 2.08oz, best with a 1/2/3wt line. Sold in a double-sided shearling lined suede case.
