For sale here is a 7'6" 2/2 5wt bamboo rod made by Orvis. Excellent restored condition, and I suspect the restoration was performed by Orvis in their Manchester VT shop. Darkly toned impregnated cane with black guides and oxidized ferrules wrapped in dark brown windings. 12/64 ferrules fit perfectly. All sections are straight, full length and serialized (#38419). 6" cork grip is smooth and bright (looks brand new), and the rod is fitted with downlocking aluminum reel seat over wood spacer. Medium fast, progressive action. It feels like a 5wt in my hands. Weight is just under 4oz. These impregnated Battenkills are great trout rods, and they represent excellent value. Sold in the original green rod bag and replacement tube.
