For sale here is a William Olson "Springer Special" reel in near mint condition. The reel has clearly never been used, but a bit of patina on the nickel silver parts betrays the reels' age. William made a handful of these reels in the early 2000's, and most were RHW (this one is a coveted LHW model!). Black & champagne anodizing, adjustable drag and counterbalanced S-handle. 3 5/8" diameter with a spool width of 1 1/4", weight is 12.03oz. Stamped internally "No. 002". A rare early reel from Mr. Olson in unused condition. Sold in the original Arne Mason leather pouch.
