For sale here is a presentation grade 7'6" 3/4wt, 3 piece fiberglass rod made by Dave Lewis of Performance Fly Rods. The rod has been lawn cast but remains in as-new condition. Built on his performance E-glass blank in 2009, this would have been from the last batch of rods Dave made before he passed away. This is the highest grade that Dave made and the finish is stunning. REC nickel silver reel seat with beautiful spalted maple spacer. Cigar grip and knurled nickel silver winding check. Snake brand agate stripping guide. The snake guides are wrapped in orange to match the color of the agate insert, and tipped in burgundy. The action is on the medium side of medium slow and buttery smooth. This rod has all the hallmarks of a true custom piece, it's easy to see why his presentation grade rods rarely hit the secondary market.
