For sale here is an H.L. Leonard model 50df, 8' 3/2 5wt in excellent restored condition. Blonde cane with dark snake guides and perfection stripping guide wrapped in yellow windings with red tipping. The sections are full length and free of repairs, and both tips have very slight casting sweeps that should be easily corrected. Ferrules fit perfectly. Strap & ring reel seat with 5.5" cork grip and cap & ring reel seat over cork spacer. The Leonard roll stamp remains clear and crisp on the pocketed butt cap. All the cork is clean with just a hint of ridging. It casts a DT5 beautifully, on the medium side of medium fast action. Stated weight is 4 3/4oz but it's a bit lighter at 4 1/3oz on my scale. A great trout rod, ready to hit the water. Sold in the original bag with hang tag and brass capped tube with aftermarket decal.
