For sale here is fully restored pre-fire Leonard model 50 in excellent+ condition. 8' 3-piece / 2-tip, best with a modern 5wt line, but should cast a DT4 just fine. Original medium tempered cane with patent date ferrules and original cork & reel seat. Lightly oxidized English twist snake guides are replacements and the rod has been wrapped in the proper golden honey colored wraps. All sections are full length & straight, and the ferrule fit is perfect. 4.7" cigar grip is clean and smooth. Nickel silver reel seat hardware with butternut spacer. The butt cap reads "The Leonard Rod - H.L. Leonard Rod Co. - Makers". Restoration work done by Steve Blake. The bag is also a replacement, and is fitted with a Hal Bacon reproduction hang tag indicating "Tournament", although it lacks the tournament roll stamp on the butt cap. Sold with the original brass capped aluminum tube.
