For sale here is a beautiful Model 50-6 Hunt pattern Leonard rod in excellent used condition. 8' 3-piece / 2-tip, built for a 6wt but it handles a DT5 nicely. Medium tempered cane with 3-up nodes and nicely swelled butt. Dark guides wrapped in pale brown windings and full intermediate wraps. All sections are straight and full length, and the blued ferrules fit perfectly. Tips are marked for ease of rotation. Strap & ring hook keeper, blued windings check and 6" cork grip (clean & smooth). Bright, uplocking reel seat over fine wood spacer. Leonard stamp in cartouche on the screw collar. Weight is 4.75oz. Made in 1981, the serial numbers (81293) appear to be in Tom Maxwell's hand, although the "Hunt 50-6" appears to be a later addition by someone else at Leonard. Medium-fast, positive action, a great taper for variety of fishing situations. Sold in the original bag and brass capped tube.
