Lancaster, R.W. - 7'6" "Falling Springs" 2/2 4wt Bamboo Fly Rod

For sale here is an R.W. Lancaster "Falling Springs" 7'6", 2/2 bamboo fly rod in excellent used condition. A fantastic 4wt rod, based primarily on the PHY Perfectionist taper. Mottled flamed cane with a pleasant oil-rubbed finish, oxidized snake guides wrapped in transparent gold windings and Garrison-style hook keeper. The 15/64 ferrules fit perfectly. Sections are full length, straight and serialized, and the tips are marked for ease of rotation. 6" ventilated grip with thumb relief, and dual slide bands over cork reel seat. The base of the blank can be seen through the wood butt cap. Medium/medium fast action, I find the action to be true to the original Perfectionist taper. Sold in original tartan rod bag and crinkle finish black tube.
