For sale here is an 8'6" 2-piece/2-tip hollow built bamboo rod from the bench of Marty Karstetter. Featuring medium tempered cane with bright guides wrapped in transparent toffee colored windings and red agate stripping guide. 16/64 truncated Swiss ferrules are blued and the fit is perfect. All sections are straight and full length. 6.4" modified Powell grip with cap & ring reel seat over a highly figured wood spacer. The butt cap reads "Marty Karstetter - Maker", and has some minor bluing loss. The finish work is impeccable and the rod has been very well cared for. Scripted weight is 3 7/8oz, though it's just a hair lighter on my scale. Fast/medium fast dry fly action, I like it with both a DT and WF5. Sold in original bag and tube.
