Kagerow Rods - Main River 7'8" 3/1 5wt Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a Kagerow Main River 7'8" 3/1 5wt bamboo rod from the bench of Japanese rod maker Hideto Ishida. Mint condition. Medium flamed cane with bright guides and pale orange stripping guide. Wraps are transparent apricot with black tipping. Blued ferrules fit perfectly, and each female is fitted with a wood & cork plug. All sections are full length and straight as a pin. 6" cork grip is bright and smooth, and the rod is fitted with an up-locking reel seat over mortised spacer. Vertical script on the butt with model info and the serial (#506). Weight is 4.58oz. Medium fast action, a crisp dry fly rod that will cover a huge variety of fishing situations. Best with a DT5. The rod is perfect, I see no signs it was ever cast. Sold in the original bag and brass capped tube with maker's label affixed.
