For sale here is a 7'6" 2/2 5wt bamboo rod made by Homer Jennings & Tom Moran. Excellent+ used condition. Medium flamed cane with dark guides wrapped in pale brown windings. Bright ferrules fit perfectly, and the sections are straight, full length & serialized (#0155). Handsome swelled butt with bent loop hook keeper, hexagonal NS winding check and 6" grip (lightly soiled and smooth). Nickel silver cap & ring reel seat over mortised wood spacer. Weight is 3.75oz. Superb craftsmanship with refined, almost understated aesthetics. Smooth, medium fast action, perfect with a DT5. The partnership between these two well-known rod makers was brief, and only a few rods were produced under the "Jennings & Moran" name in the late 1970's/early 1980's. This one is sold in the original bag with bamboo stiffener and heavy gauge aluminum tube with brass cap directly threaded on.
