For sale here is a Gary Howells 7'6" 2/2 5wt bamboo rod in excellent used condition. Serial #3909, made in 1972. Medium tempered cane with bright guides and chocolate brown windings with gold accents. Overwrapped ferrules fit perfectly, and all sections are full length, straight & serialized. Strap & ring hook keeper, skeleton cork grip with aluminum slide band hardware. Scripted and actual weight is 3 1/4oz. Medium action, perfect with a DT or long belly WF5. A fine 7’6” Howells dry fly taper. Sold in the original bag (no tube).
