Hardy - Sunbeam 3 1/4" Fly Reel - Horseshoe Latch

For sale here is a 3 1/4" Hardy Sunbeam fly reel in excellent used condition. RHW reel featuring horseshoe spool latch, faded ebonite handle, single check and Bickerdyke line guard. Bronzed-brass reel foot it full length and unaltered. The finish has worn to a pleasant golden gray patina. The check is strong and even, and the spool has minimal end play. A fine early example of the Sunbeam reel in the largest available size, perfect for most 4 or 5wt fishing.
