Hardy - Perfect 3 1/8" Fly Reel - 1920's

For sale here is a Hardy 3 1/8" perfect fly reel in excellent used condition. A 1920's RHW reel with smooth brass foot, roped tensioner screw, and non-engageable spare pawl. Black ebonite handle spins freely and the smoky gray agate line guard has a stable hairline crack. The name and initials of a previous owner are scratched into the reel foot, and the same initials are faintly scratched into the brass spindle end on the winding plate. A smooth operating reel with good resistance throughout it's range and evenly worn leaded finish. Would make a great pairing with a 4 or 5wt rod.
