For sale here is a Hardy Perfect 3 1/4" Widespool fly reel in excellent original condition. A pre-WWII reel with ribbed brass foot and dark leaded finish. Mechanically very tight and cosmetically excellent. The only leading loss to speak of is around the handle grasp and on the bottom pillar (no line burn). Rim mounted tensioner works as intended. JS initials on the winding plate (Jimmy Smith). Excellent examples of the 3 1/4" widespools don't tend to change hands very often, and this one is a dandy! Ready to fish or collect.
