Hardy - Perfect 2 7/8" Fly Reel

For sale here is a Hardy Perfect 2 7/8" fly reel in very good used condition. An early post-WWII reel with straight line lettering and leaded finish. The finish has been worn (and probably polished) to a light gray throughout. Ribbed brass foot, black handle grasp and rim mounted tensioner. The check is stout and the reel is drum tight. Weight is 5.61oz. A fine reel to fish, it takes a 3wt line and will balance a variety of light-line cane rods. Sold in what appears to be the original Hardy Bros box with partial label.
