Hardy - Palakona 6' 2/2 5wt Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a 6' 2/2 5wt Hardy Palakona bamboo rod in excellent original condition. Oven tempered cane with 3x3 nodes, circle snake guides and agatine stripping guide. Wraps are black with green tipping. Blued ferrules fit perfectly, leaving ~1/16" of the male ferrule exposed when fully seated. All sections are full length & straight. Skeleton cork grip with Hardy's Universal Reel Holder fittings. The cork is smooth and bright, and the rod looks practically unused. Stated and actual weight is 71g (2.4oz). Action on the medium side of medium fast, rated as a 5wt but it feels like it will cast a DT4 no problem. The rod flexes down into the grip with an almost semi-parabolic character. A very fine Hardy cane rod, sold in the original bag with intact hangtag and aftermarket aluminum tube.
