For sale here is a 7'6" 2-piece / 2-tip, 6wt Hardy Palakona bamboo rod in excellent used condition. Blonde cane with snake guides and clear stripping guide wrapped in black & green windings. All sections are straight and full length. Ferrule fit is perfect and the female is fitted with an aluminum & cork ferrule plug. A small gap can be seen when the ferrules are seated fully, a common feature on Hardy cane rods. Strap and ring hook keeper over aluminum winding check and all cork grip & reel seat. The rod is fitted with Hardy's universal reel holder and aluminum butt cap. The butt is marked "J/Y" indicating a September 1974 build date. Very pleasant medium/medium fast action, I like it with a DT6 though a WF5 might be preferable in some fishing situations. The only signs of use are some light soiling to the cork. Sold in the original bag and unmarked aluminum tube.
