For sale here is a Leon Hanson 8'6" 2/2 3wt hollow-built bamboo rod in excellent used condition. Serial #1212. An amazingly light and fast rod, featuring medium flamed cane, light wire titanium snake guides and carboloy stripping guide wrapped in transparent silks with brown tipping. All sections are straight, full length & serialized. Micro-Swiss ferrules fit perfectly. Stated and actual weight is 2.85oz. The 6" grip is smooth and shows just a hint of soiling, and the rod is fitted with slide band reel seat over mortised walnut spacer. It's a precision caster with a variety of 3wt lines. An extremely capable rod, it feels like it would be comfortable in situations where many anglers would be reaching for a 4wt (or even 5wt). A highly sought-after hollow rod from Leon.
