Gillum, H.S. - 8' 3/2 6wt Bamboo Rod

For sale here is an 8' 3/2 6wt bamboo rod made by Harold S. "Pinky" Gillum. Serial # I-786, the butt and mid are in excellent original condition and the tips appear to be original but refinished. All sections are serialized, but the tip serials are in a different hand and running in the opposite direction. Caramel colored cane with bronze-brown wraps and black/white accents. Blued Super-Z ferrules fit perfectly, and the sections are straight & full length. 6.5" grip is clean with the faintest hint of ridging, and the rod is fitted with Gillum's up-locking aluminum reel seat over African mahogany spacer. The H.S. Gillum stamp is clear and crisp on the screw collar. Stated weight is 4oz, my scale reads 4.50oz. Medium fast action, a lovely trout taper that will cast a DT6 or WF5. Sold in the original green bag and Cal-Air tube with the original label (mostly) intact.
