Garrison, Everett - Model 206, 7'9" 2/2 5wt

For sale here is an Everett Garrison model 206, 7'9" 2/2 5wt bamboo rod. Fully restored, one tip is down ~0.85". Blonde cane with transparent windings. Chocolate brown wraps at the ferrules & hook keeper. Tip tops are wrapped red/green. Bright stepdown ferrules appear to be replacements, and the guides show corrosion shadows through their windings. All sections are straight, and the ferrules fit perfectly. The model & serial number (#E-79-3) are scripted on each section. I believe all the original script was preserved, but I can't be 100% sure. All cork grip & reel seat with nickel silver slide band and pocketed butt cap. Weight is 3.53oz. Medium fast, progressive action. Best with a DT5. The "E" serial and early hardware dates this rod to 1935. An imperfect example of Garrison's work, but worthy rod to fish and enjoy. Sold in what I believe is a replacement bag and original brass capped tube.
