For sale here is a 7' 2-piece / single tip 4wt made by Jerry Foster. Hollow built, 8-strip design marked "JJ's Rod" on the butt section. The rod is in excellent used condition and features medium tempered cane with 4x4 node spacing. Oversized snake guides and carbide stripping guide, wrapped in crimson silk windings with dark tipping. Hand drawn ferrules fit perfectly, and both sections are straight and full length. The guides, ferrules and reel seat hardware are sandblasted to a pleasant matte silver finish. 6.5" cork grip is clean and smooth. Cap & ring reel seat over desert ironwood spacer. Weight is 3.2oz. A lithe 4wt, on the medium side of medium fast. Mr. Foster's finishes are excellent, and the rod has seen little use. Sold in the original bag and Champion-style tube.
