For sale here is a Dingley 3 1/4" Uniqua-style reel made for JJS Walker Bampton. Very good original condition, this is an earlier reel with straight bar spool latch and crazed Erinoid handle grasp. Solid brass foot has a slight wave to it, but I'm able to fit it to a variety of trout rods. The leaded finish is largely intact with normal wear to the rims. Fixed RHW check with tempered caliper spring. A small bit of line burn to the edge of the frame, but nothing concerning. The spool is a narrow 5/8", making this a nice size for 4wt fishing. Weight is an even 6oz. A very pleasant Dingley trout reel, made within the first decade or so after William Dingley left Hardy Brothers to start his own firm.
