For sale here is a scarce Vince Cummings 8' 3pc / 2-tip 6wt fiberglass rod in excellent used condition. Built on a sanded orange glass blank with bright guides and brown windings. Spigot ferrules fit perfectly with very small gaps between the butt/mid and one of the tip ferrules. The other has a larger gap to allow for wear. Original script is intact on the butt above the hook keeper. 5.75" cork grip is soiled with light ridging, and the rod is fitted with an up-locking nickel silver reel seat over fine blonde spacer. Weight is 3.95oz. Medium action, it loads nicely with a DT6 and flexes down to the grip. Cummings glass rods don't pop up too often, this is something of a deluxe offering with the spare tip. Sold in what appears to be the original (3 compartment) bag and original brass capped tube with gold maker's label affixed.
