Cozzone - 80yd Fly Reel - Banded

For sale here is a Cozzone 80yd fly reel in very good used condition. RHW. Black Bakelite sideplates with nickel silver bands, frame, and spool. Fixed check, counterbalanced handle with ivorine grasp. Nickel silver oil cap & star washer, and the on/off clicker works as intended. The Cozzone logo is crisp and clear on the face plate. 2.5" diameter with a spool width of 1", the reel weighs 5.11oz. The Cozzone reels enjoyed a short production run beginning in the early 1920's and ending with the onset of the Great Depression in the early 1930's. Cozzone trout reels are cherished by collectors and are rather scarce. This one has signs of honest use but remains mechanically sound and ready to fish.
