Charlton - 8550c Fly Reel w/ Spey Spool

For sale here is a Charlton 8550c fly reel with Spey spool in excellent+ condition. RHW, practically mint except for two tiny nicks on the edge of the spool. The 8550c's have been the gold standard for big game fly fishing for many years, and the Spey spool remains perhaps the most desirable size. The machining is perfect, the type III anodizing is tough as nails, and the fully sealed carbon drag is buttery smooth throughout its astonishing range. Serial #9880. The beauty of the Charlton configurable reels is that spools of different sizes are interchangeable. This one is loaded with backing and running line and packs into the original green Cordura pouch. Ready to pair with your favorite 2-hander!
