For sale here is a Bum Rod 8' 3/2 3wt hollow built rod in mint condition. This is one of Hidenobu Katake's "Advanced 6" designs featuring 6-strip construction in a modified triangular geometry. The rod is made of Tonkin cane and is hollow built with internal bracing. Medium flamed cane with dark guides and dark brown wraps with gold tipping. Blued ferrules fit perfectly, and all sections are straight, full length & serialized (#520). 5.5" grip is bright and smooth, and the rod is fitted with a cap & ring reel seat over dark burl spacer. Weight is 2.75oz. Delightful medium fast action, it feels like a fantastic light line dry fly rod. Sold in the original bag and brass capped tube with maker's label affixed.
