For sale here is a Per Brandin 9' 2/2 8wt hollow built steelhead/salmon rod is excellent used condition. 6-strip construction, medium flamed cane with 2-opposed nodes, lightly oxidized snake guides and red agate stripper. Wraps are transparent brown with dark accents. Truncated Swiss-style ferrules fit perfectly, and the female is fitted with a machined aluminum ferrule plug. All sections are straight, full length & serialized (1/04). 6.3" cork grip is clean and smooth, and the rod is fitted with an up-locking aluminum reel seat over fine mahogany spacer. The butt cap removes to receive a 2 3/4" aluminum & micarta fighting butt. A strong single hander, best with a WF9 or DT8 (I like it with the 8). A fantastic Brandin steelhead/salmon rod, sold in the original bag and tube with data label & canvas tube protector.
