Brandin, Per - Model 834-2df Special, 8'3" 2/2 4wt Hollow Quad - Spliced Joint

For sale here is a Per Brandin model 834-2df, hollow built spliced-joint quad bamboo rod. Near mint/lawn cast only. 8'3" 2-piece /2-tip 4wt, serial #8/13. Medium flamed cane with hard coated snake guides and red agate stripper wrapped in light brown silks with dark accents. The sections are straight, full length & serialized, and the splices are fitted with splice protectors. Skeleton cork grip and seat are smooth and clean. Bright aluminum slide band with pocketed butt cap. Scripted and actual weight is 2.82oz (without splice protectors or tape). Positive, dry fly action, best with a DT4. Very light in the hand, I like this taper for delicate presentations and turning over long leaders. The rod looks unused, although it has been taped up and cast a few times. A spectacular hollow trout rod from Mr. Brandin. Sold in the original bag and tube with canvas tube protector.
