Bradley, J.L. - "Perfectionist", 7'6" 2/2 5wt Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a 7'6" 2/2 5wt bamboo rod made by Joe Bradley. Very good used condition, based on the popular PHY Perfectionist taper. Blonde cane with 3x3 nodes, oxidized snake guides and red agate stripping guide. Wraps are transparent tan with dark tipping. Both tip tops are slightly out of round (one is more deformed than the other), but this does not affect the action. Swiss-style ferrules fit perfectly, and the female is fitted with a bamboo & cork ferrule plug. All sections are full length & serialized (M-12), and both tips have light fishing sets that should be correctable without too much trouble. The node opposite the maker's signature on the butt has a small chip down to the cane. It appears stable, but the next owner may wish to address this with an invisible wrap. Nickel silver checks & screw lock reel seat over fine burl spacer. Weight is 4.11oz. Medium fast, semi-parabolic action. Best with a DT5, it feels like a faithful rendition of the Perfectionist taper. Sold in the original bag and tube with maker's label affixed.
