Bradley, J.L. - 8013 Lite, 8' 2/2 4wt Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a Joe Bradley 8' 2/2 4wt bamboo rod in excellent used condition. A model 8013 Lite, this is a lovely progressive action 8-footer. Lightly tempered pre-embargo cane with 3x3 nodes, dark guides and Arguello agate stripper, wrapped in pale olive windings with dark tipping. All sections are full length & serialized (I-17), and both tips have minor fish fighting sets (one is a bit worse than the other, neither are bad). Blued ferrules fit perfectly, and the female is fitted with a bamboo/cork plug. 6" grip is smooth with light soiling. Up-locking blued reel seat over black ash burl spacer. All the bluing is in nice shape, and the butt cap retains the maker's logo. Weight is 4.69oz. Progressive action, on the medium side of medium fast. A nice light action 8-footer from Mr. Bradley, sold in the original bag and tube with maker's label affixed.
