For sale here is a John Bradford Legacy 7'11" 2/2 5wt bamboo rod in excellent used condition. Serial # 1626. Medium toned bamboo with dark snake guides and red agate stripping guide. Wraps are chestnut brown with gold tipping and handsome accent wraps on the butt section. Blued ferrules fit perfectly, and all sections are full length, straight & serialized. 6" grip is smooth with light soiling, and the reel is fitted with a pocketed cap & ring reel seat over find wood spacer. The butt cap retains the maker's stamp, and there is some light wear to the bluing at the edges. Varnish remains near-perfect, and the reel seat spacer has a few small mounting marks. Scripted and actual weight is 3 7/8oz. Just slightly on the medium side of medium fast, best with a DT5. A wonderful John Bradford Legacy rod, sold in the original bag w/ tethered ferrule plug and brass capped tube with data label affixed.
