Bogdan - Model 00 Fly Reel - RHW

For sale here is a double-action Bogdan No. 00 "Grilse" fly reel in very good used condition. RHW. Silver anodized frame and spool with black sideplates that have faded to a very pleasing plum color. The reel shows a fair amount of cosmetic wear, but remains mechanically tight. 3 1/4" diameter with a spool width of 1 1/16", capacity is for a 7wt + 75yds. 2:1 multiplier ratio with the legendary Bogdan drag system and poachers knob. A great reel for single handed light/medium duty salmon and steelhead fishing. The reel shows scratches and nicks to the rims and sideplates, and one good ding to the rim at the 3-oclock position (purely cosmetic). The drag adjuster also shows some wear, and there is the slightest bit of line burn to the bottom pillar. A nice user with plenty of life left.
