For sale here is an all-black, single action Bogdan No. 00 "Grilse" fly reel in RHW. Good used condition with honest signs of use throughout, especially on to the rims. Black anodized frame, spool & sideplates. 3 1/4" diameter with a spool width of 1 1/16", capacity is for a 7wt + 75yds. Featuring the legendary Bogdan dual-brake drag with 10-position drag adjuster. Mechanically perfect and the poachers knob works as intended. Bright aluminum reel foot has "No. 00" stamped on the side. A single action reel with porting on the faceplate and the corresponding side of the spool. The smallest Bogdan salmon reel, a great choice for single handers, and a rare find in the "all-black" finish. The original owners name is engraved on the faceplate, and the reel is packed in the original drawstring suede pouch. From the collection of Per G. Brandin.
