For sale here is a 7'6" 2/2 bamboo rod built on a Jim Reams blank and finished by Steve Blake. Based on the Dickerson 7613 taper, the rod features lightly blued snake guides wrapped in transparent light brown windings with black accents at the ferrules and hook keeper. 5.5" cork grip is slightly soiled, but smooth. Nickel silver slide band reel seat over dark wood spacer. All sections are full length, and both tips have slight fish fighting sets. The 13/64 step down ferrules fit perfectly, and the only condition note I have is that the snake guide closest to the ferrule on one tip is a replacement. Steve Blake is best known for his outstanding restoration work, and this is a scarce example of his brief collaboration with Jim Reams. A fine rendition of the 7613 taper, I like it with a WF4 but some may prefer it with a DT5. Sold in the original bag and tube.
