For sale here is a special 7'8" 3pc spliced joint bamboo rod made by Rolf Baginski and Per Brandin. Created on a 2019 trip to Europe by Brandin who visited Baginski at his home in Bremen, Germany. Honey colored bamboo with bright guides and clear wraps with black accents, the finish and splices are in perfect condition. The grip is smooth and bright, and the rod is fitted with a cap & ring reel seat over burl spacer. Weight is 3.92oz (untaped). A strong 5wt, I cast this rod with a WF5 and it has an authoritative medium fast action. A single tip rod sold in the original bag (no tube), near mint/lawn cast only. This comes from Brandin's personal collection, and a letter from Per will accompany the rod.
