Aroner, Marc - Hunt Pattern 7' 3/2 4wt Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a Marc Aroner 7' 3/2 4wt Hunt Pattern bamboo rod in excellent used condition. This is one of Marc's "M" rods, indicating a more moderate action. Dark cane with 3x3 nodes, red agate stripping guide and dark snake guides. Wraps are crimson with light red tipping. Blued ferrules have coin edge knurling on the males, and the fits are perfect. All sections are straight & full length. The butt is swelled with a strap & ring hook keeper, 5" cork grip and cap & ring reel seat over dark cherry root burl spacer. Minor bluing loss to the edges of the reel seat hardware, but otherwise the bluing is intact and quite dark. The cork is bright with just a hint of texture and appears to have been carefully cleaned. Weight is 3.42oz. The action is more medium fast than medium. The tips are fine, and the swelled butt imparts nice power. I like it with a DT4. The rod shows minor signs of use, overall excellent. sold in the original bag and brass capped tube.
