For sale here is a vintage Model 500-A sidecasting reel from Alvey. Made in Australia in the late 1980's / early 1990's, this is the precursor to their popular Model 50. Fiberglass spool with stainless bushing, made for extended use in the salt. Alvey Reels has been in business for over 100 years and their products have a reputation for great durability. Reel is mint unused, in the box with papers and stainless steel "open runner" attachment .
